We sincerely hope that the issues identified in our initial findings - and the ideas that are presented - are seen as a starting point for further discussions, for subsequent research and, above all, for positive action.
Edexcel has taken the initial findings onboard and is committed to researching and developing solutions that match up to the real-life challenges faced by governments, businesses, industry, educators, employees and learners. The company is currently developing a suite of employability programmes and will continue to engage with key stakeholders to find ways each challenge can be addressed collectively.
