Those consulted by the Effective Education for Employment project include government representatives, policy makers, business leaders from corporations and small to medium size enterprises (SMEs) aa well as individuals working in education provision and academic study. These people were chosen for their depth of expertise, insight into the challenges faced by their own education systems and economies as well as their commitment to change and insight into the needs of a 21st Century Education System.
To establish global evidence to support the aims of our project a series of round-table discussions was instigated with key figures in the five countries of Brazil, China, India, South Africa and the United Arab Emirates (UAE).
Subsequently, we engaged with 54 leading thinkers and practitioners across the world and asked them to share their vision for a desired future. The first report from India has just been released on the website.
To reinforce this process, we also held a number of one to one interviews with ket stakeholders around a Vision for educational change in the USA, Singapore and South Africa, with another set of interviews from India which to be published shortly.
